Description
Bacteriostatic Water is a type of water that has been treated with benzyl alcohol to prolong the shelf life of diluted or reconstituted medications. It is used to dilute/dissolve medications in powdered forms, such as peptides and Human Growth Hormone (HGH). Bacteriostatic Water is commonly used to reconstitute lyophilized powders and helps prevent the growth of bacteria. It can be subsequently administered by intravenous, intramuscular, or subcutaneous injection. It is important to note that Bacteriostatic Water is not the same as sterile water and should only be used for reconstituting medications.
